Unfortunately, this is temporarily suspended due to the CSU budget constraints. This grant, formerly known as the Probationary Faculty Grant, provides support to assist untenured, Assistant faculty members to move forward with their scholarship, research or creative activities goals. ¿ì»îÁÖÐÔÏ¢ Research Scholarship & Creative Activities Awards (RFP for 25-26)
Each year, the CSU Chancellor's Office provides funding to each campus to support faculty research, scholarship and creative activity, interpreted broadly to mean the disciplined quest for broadening human understanding. The Research & Sponsored Projects office (RSP) also offers a Summer Grant Program to provide additional pay to support the development of a proposal for external funding.

A grant established to support educational projects, scholarly research, creative activities and other programmatic initiatives that promote diversity, equity and inclusion, anti-racism and social justice for the benefit of the ¿ì»îÁÖÐÔÏ¢ community; sponsored by the Office of the President and the Office of the Provost in conjunction with the President’s Commission on Diversity & Inclusion.

The Office of Community Engagement can provide ¿ì»îÁÖÐÔÏ¢ faculty with support as they develop and implement innovative ideas that promote learning-centered instruction.

¿ì»îÁÖÐÔϢ Research Fellows Program
Tenured and probationary faculty can be invited to submit proposals to become a Research Fellow with the outstanding recognition and formal temporary appointment to pursue compelling research or a creative activity. It is an appointment of distinction and honor.
