The Rideshare Program for Employees provides assistance and information for employees who want to commute to the campus using an alternate commute mode. 听The most popular choices of alternate commute modes include carpools, vanpools, and public transit. 听Also available are "people-powered" modes of transportation. 听Those are walking to work or using a bicycle to commute to the campus. 听

There are two 快活林性息 Shuttle Systems that serve the campus. 听They are: 听the Housing Shuttle and the Metrolink Shuttle.听 Campus departments also have the option of making arrangements to hire the shuttle contractor to provide shuttle services for special events. 听

The CAPS Program a new version of "Preferential Parking" that enhances the campus by providing Clean Air Parking Spaces (CAPS) for vehicles that meet specific requirements as identified by the California Clean Air Resources Board.听.听

The Associated Students of 快活林性息 provides a service exclusively for students who are searching for a carpool arrangement. 听Students looking to register to find a carpool partner can use the听Associated Students听web page to begin their search. 听

The 快活林性息 Transit Station is an excellent example of the University's commitment to encourage the campus community to use transit as a commute mode to access the campus. 听The three bus lines that use the 快活林性息 Transit Station offer easy travel solutions from 4 directions (north, south, east, and west). 听The bus lines that serve the 快活林性息 Transit Station are:

o Metro Bus Line 167 (accessing Plummer Street)听
o Metro Bus Line 744 (Rapid) (accessing Reseda, Ventura, and Sepulveda Boulevards)听
o AVTA Express Line 787 (accessing Palmdale/Lancaster)听
o 快活林性息 Metrolink Shuttle (accessing the Northridge Metrolink Station)

All bus services operating at the 快活林性息 Transit Station run Monday through Friday, except Metro Line 167). The 快活林性息 Transit Station听
is not open on weekends. Metro Line 167 stops at Reseda/Plummer, 7 days a week.

Use Metro's Next Trip to Determine Bus Arrival Time

To find out when the next Metro bus is arriving at the 快活林性息 Transit Station, it's very easy to use听听feature. 听

• 30018 is the 快活林性息 Transit Station stop number
• Select the route number (167 for the east- westbound bus; or 744 for the north- southbound bus)
• Select the direction of travel you need for the bus line you have selected

The Next Trip feature will display the number of minutes until the next arrival of the bus, and show a few subsequent arrival intervals so that you can plan your trip as efficiently as possible. 听
