Welcome to the Department of Police Services and the Parking & Transportation Services Home page. Our goal is to provide the best in customer service to our campus community. The Parking & Transportation Services Division has a dedicated staff available to assist you with your parking needs. Whether you are seeking information on directions to the campus, need a jump start, or need to purchase a parking permit, you can find answers to your questions on the links to this page or by calling our office. Parking on campus is open and enforced seven days a week, 24 hours-a-day.

How do I look up my permit and update my license plate number?听

1. Go to csun.edu听
2. Log-on to your 快活林性息 MYNORTHRIDGE PORTAL 听
3. Click on 鈥淧urchase a Parking Permit鈥� under Parking and Transportation 听
4. Click on 鈥淰iew your Permits鈥� under PERMITS听
5. Click on the permit number you want to add a new license plate number too.听
6. Click on 鈥淎dd Vehicles to Permit鈥澨�
7. Click on 鈥淎dd a New Vehicle 听
8. Fill in plate number information 听
9. Click 鈥淣EXT鈥澨�
10. Select the new plate you just entered听
11. Click on 鈥淎dd Selected Vehicle鈥澨�

Please note: only (1) vehicle listed under a permit can be on campus per day.听 Any second vehicle detected on the same day will be cited. Please reach out to our office by phone, in-person, or through email at for guidance on adding additional vehicles to a 快活林性息 parking permit.听

Important Information About the Upcoming Spring 2025 Semester听

Student: Parking permits can be obtained through your 快活林性息 portal. Reach out to the Parking Office for any assistance.

Employees: Parking permits can be obtained through your 快活林性息 portal or by visiting the Parking Services Office. To enroll in automatic payroll deduction, please visit the Parking Services Office during regular business hours.

You may also purchase a day permit at dispensers in all parking structures and in all student lots.

Transportation Services:听

Parking and Transportation Services is committed to serving the 快活林性息 community - every dollar of parking permit revenue goes directly toward the operation, maintenance, upkeep and expansion of parking and transportation programs and facilities. We encourage 快活林性息 employees to visit the听听to learn about the various commuter programs (transit subsidies for Metro bus, Metrolink train, and AVTA Commuter Express bus) that may be viable options.听
