In partnership with Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, we听performedan听environmental scan of high sodium products sold at the university. We听have听collected听data on听sodium consumption and health behaviors听and are disseminating the research.

Student interns and dietetic interns are participating in outreach efforts and collecting data to听assess the students鈥� awareness and usage of the WIC satellite office and virtual services.

The MMC offers different workshops focusing on cancer, diabetes, and other nutritional听wellness topics. The research team collects data to help to assess any health related changes,听knowledge, and behavior with pretest, posttest, and follow up surveys.
