MPH Internship
MPH students are required to complete up to 300 hour internship experience beginning about halfway through the Program. 聽The variation in hours provides the flexibility to accommodate students who already have a great deal of health education experience while also assuring that those who are relatively inexperienced will have ample opportunity to develop their practice skills before leaving the Program. 聽Students may request from their advisor the MPH Field Training Manual. 聽In this Manual students will find the requirements which must be met during the field training experience. 聽Students will be assisted in identifying an appropriate field training聽agency. 聽Once an agency聽has been identified, a Field Training Supervisor聽submits a curriculum vita to verify qualifications to manage a student and a willingness to meet with the University Field Training Coordinator. All Field Work Supervisors must have an MPH as required by our accrediting organization, CEPH.
