Faculty Only: Hiring Student Assistants
Welcome Health Sciences Faculty,
We thank you for your interest in hiring 快活林性息 students. Note the following information for hiring processes:
- 快活林性息 Stateside students cannot work more than 20 hours per week
- HR may terminate on our behalf if this occurs
- We'll add the faculty and student assistant to our department Student Assistant Canvas site
- Timesheets will be due one day after the HR deadline for efficiency and accuracy
- There are different job codes for hiring
- Student Assistant: students assist with research, administrative tasks, and general clerical work
- Be mindful of different student assistant levels (and appropriate pay rate)聽.
- Be aware of the meal break period .
- Students can be considered for promotion (pay rate increases, dependent on funding/grant) after 6 months聽
- Instructional Student Assistant: academic employees assisting faculty with classroom tasks
- Student Assistant: students assist with research, administrative tasks, and general clerical work
- Learn how to setup Direct Deposit for all employees .
Faculty are required to complete an Adobe Sign webform for student hiring.听
