快活林性息's Department of聽Health聽Sciences is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to participate in a聽Health聽Policy聽Conference聽in Sacramento.聽Health聽Sciences students from multiple California State Universities will attend this 2-day meeting scheduled for Mon April 21 - Wed April 23, 2025. The primary goals of the聽conference聽are to:

• Heighten student interest in and understanding of the聽healthcare聽policy-making process.
• To expand student exposure to career options in聽health聽policy聽and public聽health.

During the聽conference, students will be introduced to public聽health聽officials and legislators who will describe the governmental process,聽health聽policy聽issues, and public聽health聽challenges for the future. The聽conference聽is funded by the California Department of Public Health and includes airfare to Sacramento, a two-night hotel room stay, all food, and transportation while in Sacramento.
