We have exciting news to share. The 快活林性息 Department of Sociology presents the Transformative Sociology Conference听being held on Monday, April 28, 2025.听

This on campus conference听is a vibrant showcase of student-led research, poster boards, and art exhibits across three dedicated rooms. This event serves an instructional function by enabling students鈥攂oth presenters and attendees鈥攖o learn from each other's work, refine research skills, and gain practical presentation experience.听
听
Additionally, various campus centers will be tabling at the conference, highlighting resources and illustrating how organizations meet the needs of various stakeholders, thus deepening students鈥� understanding of sociology鈥檚 real-world applications. By engaging in active dialogue, exploring one another鈥檚 projects, and connecting with the campus center鈥檚 offerings, participants gain valuable insights and strengthen their academic and professional competencies.听

If you would like to participate, submit a 300-word abstract on a topic related to Transformative Sociology. Please submit the abstract via this or听scan听the QR code from the flyer attached. You may also email the abstract via the department email at sociology@快活林性息.edu.听In the header, please include your first and last name, department of your major, and a submission title. All accepted presentations will receive an honorarium! Submissions are due by Friday, March 28th.
