Research & Sponsored Programs

The office (RSP) manages all grants and contracted (“sponsored”) programs for the University. Our pre-award liaisons assist investigators with identifying and interpreting funding opportunities, proposal development and submission, and award receipt. Through our partnership with The University Corporation (TUC), post-award liaisons set up award accounts, manage all awards, and assist with contract extensions and closeouts.

Proposal Development

All proposals for extramural support of research and sponsored programs must be submitted by an Authorized Official in RSP. The assigned to your college, department, or center will help you develop a checklist of required documents and address key components of your proposal, including budget, narrative, required compliance documents, institutional information, and a description of core facilities and other resources.
