About Systems and Operations Management
Our programs in Business Analytics, Global Supply Chain Management, and Systems and Operations Management focus on developing skills for problem-solving, critical thinking, communication and the use of constantly changing technology. These skills are needed to deal with a variety of decisions made by managers in manufacturing, service and public organizations. These encompass strategic long-range decisions (such as product, service and process design, facility location and capacity planning), as well as operational decisions (such as project management, operations planning and scheduling, quality assurance, purchasing and inventory).
Our Information Systems Program centers on the effective use of information technology (IT) – computers and telecommunications networks – to support management decision-making and corporate strategy, in addition to providing all necessary operational level support for an organization. Including system analysis and design, information security, audit, software development, and so on.
