Facilities Tours
Tours are available during the Spring and Fall semesters (from mid-August to mid-May).
Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 10 AM鈥�3 PM, by appointment. Please email csunscriptlibrary@gmail.com听to schedule an appointment.

Laptop Requirements
The Television classes listed below require students to have personal and continuous access to a laptop听computer听that meets the requirements found below. Students who do not already have access to the appropriate laptop and听required听software may be able to include those costs in the calculation of their financial aid by filing a Cost of Attendance Appeal with the Financial Aid Office. If you have questions about this requirement, please contact the CTVA Department at (818) 677-3192.
Television Classes: CTVA 240, 340, 341, 342, 352, 358, 440, 441, 442.

Recommended computers:听
Students may custom order a MacBook Pro or purchase a stock (off-the-shelf) model.听These are the听minimum听recommended specifications for students in our TV option, especially students who intend to become editors.听Additionally, students may be expected to obtain external storage drives in the future, for specific class projects.
Please note: Avid has not yet officially qualified the November 2024 M4 MacBook Pro models for use with Media Composer. macOS Sequoia, which Avid also has not yet officially qualified for use with Media Composer, is pre-installed on the M4 models.
