Mission

The Art Galleries at California State University, Northridge (¿ì»îÁÖÐÔÏ¢) serve the campus and larger Los Angeles area audiences through innovative contemporary art exhibitions and related programs. Our multifaceted and culturally-relevant exhibitions of professional and student artists reflect the diverse communities that make up ¿ì»îÁÖÐÔÏ¢ and greater Los Angeles.

As one of the few art institutions in the San Fernando Valley, ¿ì»îÁÖÐÔÏ¢ Art Galleries are a unique regional resource where visitors can connect in-person with art, artists, and each other.
Our Vision:
¿ì»îÁÖÐÔÏ¢ Art Galleries are a vital component in students’ learning experiences and a significant contributor to the larger Los Angeles arts landscape.
Art Galleries’ exhibitions are funded in part by the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and Communication; Instructionally Related Activities Committee; and the Arts Council for ¿ì»îÁÖÐÔÏ¢.
