The Fall 2025 Graduate Au.D. Program Application closed Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
The Department will be acceptingÌýDepartment Graduate Au.D Program Applications for admission in the Fall 2026 semester.ÌýÌýThe Program and ¿ì»îÁÖÐÔÏ¢ does not require the GRE.

The information below will be helpful as you prepare to apply to the Doctor of Audiology Program:
The Fall 2025 Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) Program Application closed Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
The Department Graduate Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) Application will be available, Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
The Department Application Deadline is Thursday, January 15, 2026.
ItÌýis important to note that each applicant will need toÌýcomplete two (2) applicationsÌýfor the Graduate Doctoral Program in Audiology (Au.D.)Ìý

Both Applications should be submitted no later than Thursday, January 15, 2026.
The link for the Department Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) Program Application for Fall 2026 admissions will be available on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
Please note:ÌýÌýThere is a fee upon submission of the Department Au.D. Program Application through CSDCAS for the upcoming Fall 2026 admission cycle.
You will need to be prepared to upload documents and information, which includes, but is not limited to:
1.ÌýÌý Official Transcripts forÌýALLÌýColleges and University’s you took course(s) where you earned a grade. (If you received a Bachelor's Degree at another University be sure to include the transcript or transcripts; this request also applies to Community Colleges, where you may have completed General EducationÌýcourses)
2.Ìý ÌýEmail Addresses to request 3 persons to Recommend you for the Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) program, which will be sent through the CSDCAS "EVALUATIONS" portal
3.ÌýÌý Individual Personal StatementÌý(Directions and prompts can be found within the CSDCAS application)
The Program and ¿ì»îÁÖÐÔÏ¢ does not require the GRE.
Additional information for Applicants:
- The Department requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication DisordersÌýorÌýa minimum ofÌý18 units of prerequisites in Communication Disorders and SciencesÌýbefore beginning graduate study. However, we highly value prospective students' grade point average in the major, and give priority to students who have submitted grades forÌý12 or more semester unitsÌýof required prerequisite major coursework.Ìý
- Prerequisite coursework should include the following or the equivalent (descriptions of courses can be found atÌý):
- CD410 - Hearing Sciences (Anatomy & Physiology of the Hearing Mechanism)
- CD415 - Speech and Language Development
- CD442 - Speech ScienceÌý(Anatomy & Physiology of the Speech Mechanism)
- CD445 - Audiometry and Hearing Conservation
- CD446 -ÌýAuditory Habilitation
- Phys305/L - Physics of Music and Lab (or Acoustics)
- Prerequisite coursework should include the following or the equivalent (descriptions of courses can be found atÌý):
- Recommendations are most effective when they are written by a person who knows you and your work. Select someone who taught a course in which you performed well academically, and where you made contributions to the class. Recommendations from family, friends, relatives, casual employers, and coworkers are not appropriate.Ìý We suggest that at least 2 of the 3 letters come from academic faculty.
- Applicants shouldÌýnotÌýneed to contact the office regarding the status of an application.Ìý Once you have uploaded all of the documents and submitted your application through CSDCAS the application is available to the Department Office for processing.
- When the review process is complete, the Department will email applicants regarding the outcome of the process. These emails are expected to be sent out around March of each year.
