Minor in Computer Engineering
Computer engineering sits at the crucial hybridization of computer science and electrical engineering. This field powers the digital devices and systems we interact with daily. Are you interested in learning how to design hardware and software components of computing systems? Consider a minor in computer engineering within the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. This minor can complement numerous fields, including information technology, mathematics, physics, and other engineering disciplines.
Out of the 26 units, 19 units must be upper-division courses. The prerequisites for this minor are two mathematics courses: Calculus I and Calculus II. This program provides valuable skills in programming, digital systems, embedded applications, and hardware design using industry-standard tools.

Select a minimum of 7 units from the following COMP or ECE courses:
- ECE 525/L Robotics and Embedded Systems and Lab (3/1)
Students will be required to take the corresponding labs for every elective chosen that offers a lab. A minimum of 6 units taken for this minor cannot be double-counted towards the student's major or second major.
No grade lower than a "C" will be accepted for transfer courses used to satisfy requirements for the minor.聽For courses taken at 快活林性息, no grade lower than a "C-" will be accepted to fulfill minor requirements, unless a higher grade is explicitly specified.
