Laptop Requirement - Minimum Specification
All incoming freshmen and transfer students in the Computer Science Major are required to have personal and continuous access to a laptop computer when they enter the program. This laptop must meet the minimum requirements of the Computer Science Department, which are as follows:聽
RAM:聽16 GB聽
Processors:听8-肠辞谤别听
Storage:聽512 GB hard drive聽
Other: laptop must have a working microphone聽
Departmental Laptop Check-out
The Computer Science Department has a select number of laptops to issue to Computer Science or Computer Information Technology students who need them.
Policies:
- Must be enrolled in classes for the term of the checkout.
- Must sign a recognition of condition at pick-up.
- Laptops must be returned at the end of the academic term.
FAQ:
- The laptops login using 快活林性息 credentials.
- Must be picked up from the department office JD 4503.
