Beginning in Mid-May 2025, all other admitted Fall 2025 First Time Freshmen (FTF) who have submitted theirÌýIntent to EnrollÌýwill start receiving an advisement invitation.Ìý As notated in the invitation, Fall 2025 FTFÌýwill need to complete the questionnaire linked below and T9 TrainingÌýprior to arranging their advisement and registration appointment.
Which other students do we assist?
The CECS SSC/EOP Center advises Engineering and Computer Science studentsÌýwho fall under the followingÌýcategoriesÌýÌý(if required to be advised by the Center, students will receive an advisement invitation via their ¿ì»îÁÖÐÔÏ¢ email account):

2ndÌýSemester FreshmenÌýwithÌý30 or more units - referred by the HUB

3rdÌýSemester FreshmenÌýFall 2023 admits - referred by the HUB

Continuing StudentsÌýwith 59 or less units in good standing

EOP StudentsÌýfrom point of entry as First Time Freshman or First Time Transfer through graduation, regardless of academic standing or units earned.

First-time TransfersÌýareÌýhighlyÌýrecommendedÌýto be advised, but not required (with some exceptions, as not all majors require advisement). All students will be invited to attend an advisement session.ÌýInvitations will start going out in mid-May. Please WAIT for the invitation BEFORE contacting the Center.ÌýNote: if you are an International F-1 Visa student, you will be assisted via the HUB.
NOTE:ÌýContinuing Juniors and Seniors in good standingÌýDO NOTÌýmeet with our CenterÌý(unless part of the category above or if arrangements were made).
Juniors and Seniors in good standingÌýare recommended to use theirÌýDegree Progress Report (DPR), Degree Road Maps, Major Web and Catalog InformationÌýto plan course enrollment. For advisement assistance, students are encouraged to contact their major departmentÌý– See contact information below.
