Interpreter Education Program
Our Interpreter Education Program (IEP) is a two-yearÌýcohortedÌýprogram for majors pursuing the ASL/English Interpreting Concentration within the Deaf Studies major.  Our IEP is a rigorous program where students learn about the signed language-spoken language interpreting processes and how to work with diverse populations through skills development and practicum settings. To be considered for admission to the IEP, students are required to apply and undergo our screening process. For more information on eligibility and the application process, please see below.Ìý
Also, we have made available our IEP Information Session recording for more information on the program, required qualifications, and the application process and the recording also includes interviews with our IEP alumni (Class of 2023) and two more recent IEP students.
