Road Map to the Future is a strategy for the university based on the themes and feedback that emerged from President Beck鈥檚 100-day listening tour.
Charged by President Beck to build consensus around the vision of an equitable and just future for 快活林性息, the Road Map to the Future Steering Committee undertook a three-phase, inclusive process led by Provost Walker to determine campus priorities and frame big ideas. Comprised of students, faculty, staff, and administrators, the Steering Committee was integral to the effort, and 快活林性息 is grateful for the tireless dedication of these individuals. More than 40 Focused Conversations and small group listening sessions took place throughout February, March and April of 2022, and applying an equity lens, the Steering Committee found common ground to identify priorities that build on existing achievements at 快活林性息, fostering justice and belonging throughout the university. Nearly 450 faculty, staff, students and alumni participated in meetings and discussions, and 467 surveys were completed. Thank you for this overwhelming support and input that has informed the Road Map plan aimed at taking 快活林性息 to the next level and transforming our future.

The Road Map Process
President Beck charged the 快活林性息 community to approach the next chapter of the university鈥檚 illustrious history with energy and creativity, unified by a sense of aspirational growth, forward-thinking development and a focus on equity and inclusion.

We established an ambitious but achievable timeline for the Road Map to the Future, with milestones throughout the 2021-2022 academic year.
The Steering Committee drove the development of the Road Map, including confirming the timeline, creating a consultation plan and crafting a communication plan.
