</p><p>Welcome back to a brand new year, Matadors! To help all the new and returning students, here’s a list of key resources and information to make the first weeks of school as smooth as possible.</p>
<p><strong>Transportation and Safety</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><b><a href=";聽鈥� All 快活林性息 parking lots and structures will be available, including the new G6 structure,聽a 1,500-space聽structure聽along Zelzah Avenue at聽Plummer Street. Parking permits are available through the 快活林性息 Portal or the Parking Office where individuals can now register their license plate instead of printing a physical permit.</li>
<li>Be aware that heavy traffic is expected for the first few weeks of the semester. More information about traffic聽can be found on the聽<a href=")">campus traffic map</a>.</li>

<ul>
<li><b><a href=";聽</b>鈥� 快活林性息鈥檚 housing and Metrolink聽Northridge Station聽shuttles will be available for the campus community from Monday-Friday.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><b><a href=" Patrol</a>聽</b>鈥� This student-operated public service offers free personal safety escorts for students, faculty, staff and visitors, operating Monday-Thursday from dusk until 11 p.m.聽<b></b>Their non-emergency, 24 hour number is聽818-677-2111.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>COVID Precautions<br />
</b></p>
<ul>
<li><b><a href=";聽鈥� Masks are required inside classrooms or laboratories. The wearing of masks is strongly recommended, but not required, in all other indoor spaces and outdoors.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><b><a href=" Health Screening</a>聽</b>鈥� All students, employees and visitors must complete a health screening survey before coming to campus. The survey can be found on the 快活林性息 website and on the 快活林性息 app. Everyone is also required to complete a self-reporting form if they have tested positive or are exposed to COVID-19.</li>

<li><b><a href=" Recreation Center</a>聽</b>鈥� As 鈥渢he place where Matadors play,鈥� the SRC continues to help students, faculty and community members achieve their fitness goals in a safe environment. Make sure to check their website for upcoming events and聽<a href=" sports</a>.</li>
<li><a title="Link: ; href=" Student Health Center</a>聽鈥� The Klotz SHC provides services such as聽primary care, sports medicine, nutritional counseling, and birth control education. Visit their website to schedule an appointment and find out their timings.</li>
<li><a title="Link: ; href=" title="Link: ; href="; Oasis Wellness Center</a>聽鈥� Located in the USU, the Oasis is open for students to visit and attend different health and wellness events. Students can also access different services and wellness classes by scheduling an appointment on their website.</li>

<li><b><a href=" Galleries聽</a></b>鈥�<b>聽</b>The 快活林性息 Art Galleries <b></b>located near the D6 parking lot<b>聽</b>are open Monday through Thursday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.</li>

<p><b>Learning and Printing Resources</b><b><br />

<li><b><a href=" Library</a></b>聽鈥� Daily health screenings will be required to enter the library.聽As per 快活林性息 policy, masks must be worn in all public areas of the University Library.</li>

<ul>
<li><a href=" Resource Center</b>聽</a>鈥� The LRC will be providing tutoring services both online and in person. Visit the website to schedule an appointment or find out more about dropping in during their office hours.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><b><a href=")">Device Loaner Program and Free Printing</a></b>聽鈥� The Device Loaner Program is available to students enrolled for the fall 2022 semester. Students can borrow laptops, webcams, hotspots and headsets at no cost. Students can also print up to 20 pages for free per day at the University Student Union.</li>

<p><b>Community<br />
</b></p>

<li><b><a href=";聽鈥� Students can join clubs through Matasync, and some clubs will be meeting in person, while others remain online. Students can learn more about each club through Matasync<b>聽</b>or by contacting board members. Meet the Clubs (add link) will be on Sept. 13 and 14 at the Sierra Quad.</li>

<li><b><a href=" Center</a>聽</b>鈥撀燤embers of the 快活林性息 community can attend free events hosted by the DREAM Center. The DREAM Center provides services and resources to undocumented students, mixed-status families, staff, faculty, allies and future undocumented students, while also providing legal services at their office in the USU.</li>

<li>快活林性息<b>聽<a href=" House</a>聽</b>and<b>聽<a href=" Omatsu House</a></b>聽鈥� The Black House and Glenn Omatsu House are open to provide safe spaces for the 快活林性息 community. They offer tutoring and mentoring services, and they host events both in person and online.</li>
