快活林性息 Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI) Procurement Policy

In compliance with California State University聽听补苍诲听, all Information and Communication Technology (ICT) programs, services or activities of 快活林性息 must be accessible to all students, staff and the wider community. This applies to ICT purchases at 快活林性息 which must undergo the聽Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI) Procurement Procedure. Through this procedure, ICT purchases are evaluated to determine the impact they will have on the University in terms of accessibility. Departments are responsible for complying with 快活林性息's ATI Procurement Procedure, and ICT Vendors have an obligation to work with 快活林性息 to mitigate any accessibility concerns in the products or services they are providing.聽

    Department Requirements

    University words including program school experiment, reading, program university, knowledge, books, culture, teaching information.

    When purchasing ICT, departments at 快活林性息 are responsible for:

    1. Conducting a聽pre-purchase accessibility review聽of a product or service to find the most universally accessible ICT.
    2. Obtaining an up-to-date聽Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT)聽for an ICT product.
    3. Completing the聽ICT Procurement Form.
    4. Working with the ATI Procurement Committee, the Universal Design Center (UDC), and the Alternate Access Working Group to gather accessibility information of a product, coordinate聽accessibility testing聽for a product, and address accessibility concerns identified.
    5. Creating a聽Plan for Alternate Access聽for ICT products or services that outlines what the department will do to support equitable access.

    To conduct business with 快活林性息, Vendors are responsible for the following:

    1. Providing a VPAT for their ICT products/services.
    2. Completing the聽Vendor Accessibility Assessment聽form if requested.
    3. Providing an聽accessibility demo聽of their product if requested.
    4. Working with 快活林性息 to mitigate accessibility issues and concerns in products/services they are providing.
    5. Develop an聽accessibility road-map聽outlining a timeline for accessibility improvement in the product.
    6. Providing an accessibility statement on their website.
